(HealthDay News) -- Playtime is essential for children of all ages. Is your child getting enough?
The American Academy of Pediatrics advises:
- Give children at least 60 minutes of unstructured playtime each day.
- Make sure your child gets about 30 minutes of adult-led exercise daily.
- Avoid more than a complete hour of inactivity.
- These are only guidelines. Each child has different needs, and different schedules suit them best.
